Ember is a Hypomelanistic Melanoid Axolotl! Her lavendar-colored gills provide a striking contrast between the pink-beige color of her body. If you look closely, you can even see the light-yellow pigments that can only be seen due to her lack of dark pigmentation from the hypomelanistic gene.
